Introduction to Service Management

If your executive team requires an introductory overview to IT Service Management or you are looking for an education offering that would suit an overall awareness campaign, we have several options available to suit your specific requirements.

The following Service Management introductory overview courses provide an ideal option IT managers and general staff who do not require a full 3-day ITIL® or ISO/IEC 20000 Foundation training course.


Executive Overview (½ Day)

This Service Management Executive Overview is a half-day workshop that provides business managers with an overview of ITIL® and ISO/IEC 20000 and discusses issues relating to the planning and implementation of Service Management. This training may also be delivered in conjunction with our SAFEstart capability & maturity assessment services.


Service Management Awareness (1 Day)

This one-day Service Management awareness training module provides IT staff with a high level understanding of ITIL® and ISO/IEC 20000. This course will enable your team to understand and speak a common language with regard to the delivery and support of the IT services provided to the business.


Service Management Simulation (1 Day)

The third option is to deliver a half or one day ITSM Overview using our simulation game that teaches the principles of Service Management in a fun, engaging and highly memorable way. Either stand-alone or combined with our Introductory Overview slides, this option provides a truly effective way of managing cultural change, as opposed to simply "rolling out" ITIL training to all IT staff.
