ITIL® Qualifications SchemeThe ITIL qualification scheme provides a modular approach to the ITIL framework, and is comprised of a series of qualifications focused on different aspects of ITIL best practice to various degrees of depth and detail.

ITIL® Foundation QualificationThis 3 day course is suitable for anyone working in IT who requires a good understanding of IT Service Management best practices or is looking to pursue more advanced levels of ITIL certification. The course can be taken either online or can be delivered by an instructor in a classroom setting and/or at your workplace.
Successful completion of each of the above course is a prerequisite to training at any of the higher levels and contributes 2 credits towards the ITIL Expert qualification.
ITIL® Intermediate - CapabilityThe ITIL Intermediate Capability courses are specifically targeted at process owners/managers and those working directly within one or more Service Management process areas. Staff roles particularly targeted at the various capability course options are as follows:
Operational Support & Analysis (OSA):
For Service Desk Managers, Incident Managers and Problem Managers
Release, Control & Validation (RCV):
For Change Managers/Analysts, Release Managers/Analysis and Testing Managers
Planning, Protection & Optimization (PPO):
For Service Designers, Planners and Enterprise Architects
Service Offerings & Agreements (SOA):
For Business Rleationship Managers, Service/Account Managers and Supplier Managers
Each capability course is five days in duration and concludes with a 90 minute complex-graded multiple-choice exam. Successful completion of each of the above courses contributes 4 credits towards the ITIL Expert qualification.
ITIL® Intermediate - LifecycleThe ITIL Intermediate Lifecycle courses are for consultants and managers wishing to look in detail at specific ITIL publications or for those working towards the ITIL Expert qualification. The five ITIL Intermediate Lifecycle courses include:
Service Strategy (SS):
To ensure effective integration between the business and IT
Service Design (SD):
To ensure the effective design of new or changed IT Services
Service Transition (ST):
To prepare and transition Services into production
Service Operation (SO):
For the ongoing day-to-day support of all IT services
Continual Service Improvement (CSI):
Service reporting and improvement processes
Each lifecycle course is four days in duration and concludes with a 90 minute complex-graded multiple-choice exam. Successful completion of each of the above courses contributes 3 credits towards the ITIL Expert qualification.
ITIL® Managing Across the LifecycleThis 5 day course is the final module from the ITIL Intermediate Lifecycle and Capability Modules that leads to the ITIL Expert qualification. The requirements, activities, methods and approaches for planning and implementing Service Management will be covered in a practical, hands-on learning environment through the use of our quality course material and an engaging scenario-based case study.
Successfully attaining the ITIL Intermediate Certificate for Managing Across The Lifecycle provides a final 5 credits (in addition to all other Lifecycle/Capability & Foundation credits) towards the maximum 22 required in order to achieve the ITIL Expert qualification.
